009's Latest Project
The game plan for this project is to build up a big turbo A4 geared for time attacks and track days from the ground up. As tthe project progresses this page will be updated.
Since this is a daily driver with over 170K on the clock the first course of action was to address any unknowns, and to prevent any unexpected trips in for issues.
With that in mind all belts were replaced, the waterpump, and an upgraded radiator were added as insurance.
The front suspension was starting to show the ravages of time and well over 170K on the odometer, so the control arms ball joints and tie rods were replaced and a STaSIS coilover package was added. This lowered the ride height an addtional inch from the factory sport suspension settings making the overall drop from a standard model a little over 2 inches.
A set of Vöxx 18x8 inch Misano Wheels with 40mm offset were added along with BF Goodrich g-Force T/A 225/40/18 tires to fill the wheel wells more agressively vs. the stock 195/55/16 configuration did.
A B&M shortshifter has also been added to clean up the normal slop in the stock shifter and reduce throw distance.
The front brakes have been upgraded with Porsche calipers with Audi A8 rotors with Audi S4 calipers and rotors in the rear.
The stock front sway bar was retained since it is the same as on the RS4 however a 21mm rear sway bar was added to better balance the load.
